Group at Catavina. Luan Prays for rain!
In April spring break time, I took the Green Tortoise bus from San Diego, down thru the Baja, visiting many fine locations along the way.. whales in Scammons Lagoon, Turtles in Baia de los angeles, and the beautiful city of Loreto, former capital of Baja California. From there we went south and a little East and camped on a beautiful beach for 5 days, where many of the night shots here were taken. I did not take a digital camera with me and used a disposable for the first time ever. The trip was great, mostly because the guides, Jon and Eric were incredibly competent and hard workers. We had a 'field kitchen' with us on the bus, enabling terrific meals to be prepared while 'on the road'. Miguel was in charge of camp facilities down south of Loreto and together with the brandy and wine we brought along, we were well fortified in all respects.
