Santo a sweet kid in the streets of Granada. The whole town looks like the background here, not just a block or two. He brightened up when I gave him a few Cordobas.
Our own private "gondoleer" Juan Carlos who lives in the Isletas of Granada. took us out and left us on a remote island, then came back at sunset for the ride back home. He is a great guy.

Recovering hi-tech industry exec. how did I ever manage to squeeze work into my busy schedule? An Army brat, we lived all over.Yukon to 'Down East', soon found sailing to South America more exciting and a whole lot better way to pass the more severe months of a Canadian winter.. thus began my life long love of things Latino and marino (not ONLY the friendly brown skinned chicas, either)..Events soon found me in the great state of Texas where upon realizing life ashore was a lot tougher and even potentially dangerous, was mostly motivated by fear to once again seek the luxury of higher education while toiling 6 days per week for the (named for a flower)company that made contented cows famous and paid for all my learning costs as long as I delivered passing grades.
